Project Overview

Multi-sport social platform for racquet athletes. Users create matches (singles or doubles), challenge nearby players, join leagues, record scores, follow their career stats, and discover clubs. Ships on iPhone and iPad with a shared Flutter codebase — including an iPad-optimized tournament view for organizers.

Challenges I Solved

Six sports with different scoring systems modeled behind one match schema.
iPad layouts needed real tablet-first UX, not stretched phone screens — bespoke breakpoint work across the whole app.
Nearby-player matching had to feel instant even on flaky mobile networks; heavy caching + optimistic UI throughout.
